Hello,

My name is Helene and my husband and I have been living in New York for
12 years. We live in a small apartment and we have 17 cats. We love
them like a dad and mom love their kids. They are our everyday sunshine
even-though it is a lot of work to keep the place clean...about 3 to 4
hours of cleaning, every single day. Anyway, that's another story....
All of our cats come from the street or have been abandoned. They all
have different stories telling how sad it is to live in a world where
humans think that animals do not feel, do not think and are inferior
species. With time and through the contact and unconditional love of my
babies, I came to realize that if there exist such a thing as an
inferior species, it will be us, human beings. We are thousand light
years away behind them on the chain of spiritual evolution when it
comes to unconditional love and wisdom.
But for now I am going to stop here because first I need some help
understanding how to join the Group. I tried with another similar Group
about Cats by clicking the - Join Group - but it seems that it failed
because I cannot post any message and it says -Pending-. I did not join
this one yet because I wanted to be sure to be able to post and ask for
help.
I love to read what you all have to say about your cats because at last
I found a place where I feel understood.
I will ask you to be tolerant about my writing because English is not
my native language.
