Hi
Living with cats is such a pleasure. Sure, they control the house, but
it's amazing how peaceful, serene and harmonic the homefront is despite
the number of felines. The original 5 are quite old --- I've had them
since the early 90's, so I think of them as Seniors now, in their
golden years. They're fairly quiet these days. Bizzy has been here
since 2000 and the two kittens keep each other busy. All my cats stay
indoors and are fixed, so there hasn't been any hanky panky and they've
stayed very healthy.
It's a joy I couldn't live without.

Um, I'm just curious--how could your place be a rodent paradise?
Anyway, I'm glad you keep yours indoors. Mine used to be
indoor/outdoor but when I bought my first house, it was a corner lot
on a very busy boulevard, and I knew right away they were going to
become indoor only. If I had to go scrape one off the pavement with a
shovel, I would never be able to forgive myself.
They really don't seem to mind. Even though we've moved again (this
time to a quiet street), I think it's better they stay inside. No slit
ears, cat fights, dogs chasing them, etc. They seem perfectly happy
just to go out on the screen porches and observe. And every couple of
weeks, I go by the herb place and get them a catnip plant to decimate.
So it works for us.

Rodent Paradise is the second wing of our house, dedicated to our small
furry pets. The cats aren't allowed near that part of the house, lol.
