Don't worry this isn't a rant about my cat, but even after switching cat
food he still sheds quite a bit. I've checked out PetSmart, WalMart, Pet
Supplies Plus, etc and there are a lot of no-shed products. Most come as
a liquid or vitamin. Some are a lot cheaper then others, etc...
I'm curious what should I look for when choosing a supplement? Some have
similar ingredients regardless of price... I want to get this little
monster to stop shedding.
Thanks.

You are aware that a certain amount of shedding is normal?
Cats shed when they are stressed, when it gets warm.

I am. But this is not a normal amount.

You might want to groom or bathe your cat. That can help a lot. I
don't know exactly what is in the supplements, and I would be a little
suspicious of them without talking to a vet. However, a good grooming
usually helps. You can get one of those new combs that removes the
underhair. I've talked with the developer of "Furminator" and since
they are the original, I would suggest one of those. Who knows the
quality of materials and workmanship in the copies ;-) These tools
cost about $32, and last a good, long time.
