With ours, in one room of the house it doesn't want anything to do with me
touch-wise.   In another room, it's all over me.  This has been consistent over
many months.    Seems like me and the room are somehow part of a pattern/matrix
to it and it has different reactions to the different "me"s.

Anybody else notice this in their cat?

This is the rec room where I  have my PC.

The cat likes to jump up on the workspace - where the keyboard mouse are - and
in that situation just can't seem to get enough physical contact.

OTOH when I'm sitting in a chair about two feet behind my seat at the computer,
I can't get near the cat and it takes obvious evasive action to stay clear of
me.   Same thing in the kitchen, sitting at the dining table.
