I am wanting to try imodium for my adult cat. I only have the pill
form. What how much of a 2mg pill would I give to a cat of 10 lbs?

That is for humans.  Do not give your cat human medicine.  See  your vet.
Otherwise, you could do serious...SERIOUS...damage to your cat's system.

Years ago, I had a cat with *serious* diarrhea problems (IBD, among other
things).  Imodium in pill form worked better than anything else.  The vet
showed me how much to use.  Imodium is in a small caplet to begin with
(these were the even smaller caplets, not the longer ones that were first
used a few years ago).  He had me shave it down to where I had a round piece
about the size of a BB.  I used a very thin, very sharp kife, and I
eventually got good enough at it that I could get several of those little
"cat-size pills" out of one caplet.

Now, to reiterate what Beth wrote:  first, talk to your vet.  The
formulation could have changed, and it is important to be sure to use a pill
that is safe for your cat -- and to be clear about *how much* to use.  It is
also important to first learn *why* you need this pill.  In other words, you
need a diagnosis so you can treat the underlying cause and not just the
symptoms.
