Why is there no pork cat food? Would it be because people who are
Jewish wouldn't be morally conflicted feeding their cat it? Do they
make kosher cat food for Jews to feed their pets?

It should read,

I really don't think that's it. I mean, to my knowledge, none of the
sacred texts of Judaism require that Jews keep their pets kosher. And
keeping kosher involves more than just avoiding pork....I can't quite
see anyone going to such lengths for their cats when there's no
theological basis for it.

I suspect that nutritional concerns have more to do with it.

because back in the day of cat food, pork was considered unsafe.
Tric-a-something or other (I can't spell so Im not going to try)  Its the
reason pork is still not considered safe unless you cook the living
daylights out of it, then its all tough and cats probably wouldn't eat it -
however in the US that seems to be taken care of but no one has come around
to that fact.

What I want to know is why there is no Mouse

Probably because many people (myself included!) would go "yuck!" at the idea
of opening a nice can of Mouse for our cats.

It would look and smell the same as any other mystery meat.
But that aside, I think the cat attraction to mouse is not because of
the flavor specifically, it's the whole hunter/prey thing.

This topic has been discussed here and elsewhere pretty much to
exhaustion - search for "pork cat food" at http://groups.google.com.

A google search on "kosher cat food" would show not only that it
exists but where to buy it.

Note that Jews are not the only ones to whom port is forbidden, in
fact they are a minority: Islam also forbids it.

Islam forbids everything that is fun, and good.
