Well since yesterday was Sunday and I can't reach my vet. I took my Calico
back to the pet shop and the vet examined her this morning. They kept her
overnite and in the morning all the food was gone.He told me some cats drink
a lot and some need less water. She is not dyhydrated at all and no teeth
problem (which could have been a cause for not eating here). He also said
the cat probably comes from a small appartment and is lost in a house..3
bedrooms, a living room and big kitchen.  I am to give her time and in a
week she sould be coming out from her hiding places. When she does come out
it' s at about 8:30 at nite to spend lap time with me.

Funny...when I got back home with her the first thing she did was  pass by
and sniff her litter box, then straight to her bowl ate a few bites, drank
water, sat on my lap for a bit and under the bed she went. She has been
there ever since.

That's good to hear.  Don't know what she's been eating, but if you were
giving her any canned food, she was getting water into her as canned is high
in water.  Why not just put her in one room for now until she gets used to
that and then let her out to explore?  May be less intimidating to her.
