Cat Forum / General Topics / March 2006Weird Cats are Great
I have two cats, now about 2YO, who I have aptly named Psycho and Rambo. What a pair! Were shelter cats which I obtained to replace the two I lost who were 21 and 22YO. Rambo loves popcorn and cashews while Psycho only eats cat food. Neither of them will touch seafood in any form, just turkey, chicken, and beef along with their dry food. They both love lettuce. One of my cats devoured a chese-stuffed chile pepper that fell to the floor. He didn't seem to mind the heat at all--licked his chops and looked up to see whether there would be more. Rambo probably likes popcorn and cashews because of the grease and salt. Watch out for giving them human food with high salt and fat content--it's not good for them. But yeah i have to agree watch out for the human food. The ones you previously had lived to ripe old ages, you obviously took care of them well. One of mine is wierd too - she likes taco chips. I give her a few tiny pieces when I'm eating them, and she will eat white chicken meat but refuses to touch the dark meat. Yup, pretty wierd! LOL looks funny... catfirl... LOL I believe a 'catfirl' is what you find after your kitty has "massaged" a favorite sweater. Could detect it from a deep sleep in a far off room! I could *never* eat any in peace LOL (Oh, all right... here ya go...) And a cat from my teen years used to sit and wait like a vulture for the droppings from my favoritie treats... Italian Sub Sandwiches. Onion, whatever fell out of it, he ate it with "relish"... silly boy!! I wouldn't let him have too much of that though, it couldn't have been good for him. But it sure was funny! Catgirl >OMG!! LOL!!
