Hello,
I have a kitten that is about 7 months old. She's a great cat except
for the fact that she bites my chin at night. She never bites me
otherwise EVER. It's only in the middle of the night while I'm
sleeping and it's always my chin- never anywhere else. She only
bites me also, she never bites my girlfriend. It's beginning to wear
on me because I haven't been able to sleep a whole night through for
weeks now. I can't close her out of out bedroom because she'll
just meow non-stop all night long outside the door if I don't let her
in.
What can I do to stop this terribly annoying behavior?

Put Tabasco on it or this smelly cream when you have sprained your ankle
or Tiger Balm.

Just a shot in the dark, so to speak, Robert, but is it possible you're
eating something before bedtime that is still on your breath? If so, if
you're not already doing it, brush your teeth well before bed.

I have a tendency to sleep with my hands outside the blanket. Sometimes
I'll sleep on my side with my hand on my pelvis. My cat would pretend it
was a mouse. She would stalk it and bite it. Sometimes I would change to
keep my hands under the blanket, but usually, I would just lock her out.
Once I locked her out, I was afraid to open the door and had to keep
supplies like a glass of water in the bedroom. Locking her out became a
nightly ritual that was stressful for both of us and I felt sorry for her,
so I gave her away. I ran an air purifier with a fan that made noise.

Sounds like a love bite to me. Try the suggested hot sauce, etc. Turning
over usually stops the behaviors my cats do.
Good luck to you both.

Put her outside the bedroom and wear earplugs.
