We've had a seventh-generation bengal since he was born about 7 years
ago. He'a an indoor cat and is litterbox-trained. But lately, he's
taken to peeing at various locations. At first, I thought he was
doing this because his litterbox wasn't clean but that's not the case.
I found a solution for one of his favorite loactions. I simply moved
one of his favored cat-beds onto this rug on the assumption that no
species relieves himself where he sleeps. But he's taken to other
locations.
Anyone have any other ideas on convincing him to go only in the
litterbox?

Take him to a Vet. He probably has a bladder infection.

Dave 2 things 1st is that there is an outside influence making him do this such as stress, the smell of another cat doing it there etc
2nd is that the furball might have a bladder infection which can only be determined by a vet
Personally make an appointment with your vet and rule out the medical part only a healthy cat can have its behavioral problems diagnosed properly

Whenever inappropriate urination occurs, the firs thing to do is rule out a medical problem. So I suggest you make an appointment for your cat with a vet - sooner than later.
