Heh, that's what the cats do. My cat did piss on the shoe of my
brother's wife. She did hate that cat (and she did scatter her show
everywhere).

LOL! It certainly would although it will be hard to prove :)
If your cat shows other signs of not liking your BF (and he/she may be
jealous). Try getting him to be the only one to do the nice stuff for
him/her, such as feeding, giving treats etc, so the cat begins to
associate BF with good things and not just as the person who takes your
attention away AND sleeps in your cat's bed!
All the best

Really old cartoon (from the sixties...) shows a guy doing something that really
irritates the cat. Final two panels, the guy is saying to himself "Well, I
guess the cat got over it and everything's ok.". Cat is saying "Yeah, well
wait until he puts on his stereo headphones..."

Fat Freddy's Cat!!!! From the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. In true
cat style he upstaged the hoomins (Phineas, Fat Freddy and Fabulous
Franklin) every time!

That's not completely out of the realm of possibility, but the only
times my cats ever peed on the bed, they had a urinary tract problem.
Have her checked out for UTI. Then if she's clear, you can assume it's
a behavioral /terroritorial problem.

Mine definitely retaliates, but not by urinating. She knows not to
piss in her own home, but if I scold her, she sometimes chases me
around nipping and clawing at me heel immediately afterwards.
