Well I vote for dogs, because
1) on the whole, cats are much cuiter
2) even the sounds they make are far cuiter. Meows and purring is far
more cuit than barking or howling
3)cats do not sniff visitors crutchs.
4)cats do not slobber
5)cats are far cleaner, their coat doesn't smell
6)cats do not make you wash them
7)cats are far more independent. You go to work save in the knowledge
that your cat will not be pinning away annoying the neighbours
8)cats are far more intelligent. Think about it. Just because they do
not chase sticks like some pea brained moron if left to their own
devices for days, as long as they've got food and drink and a way to
access the garden. Dogs are too stupid to occupy thier time by
themselves. They even have to have a lead on them whenever they go out
so they do not run in the middle of the road chasing a squirrel. lol
9)cats do not follow you around wherever you go in the house. That is
soooo annoying. f.ck off you mongrel!!!!!!!!!!!
10)Cats do not demand to be walked first thing in the morning and as
soon as you come from work. If I had to choose between sitting in
front of the TV with a purring cat on my lap and going for an
unispiring walk, that takes for ever because the mutt has to sniff at
EVERY post on the street. In the freezing cold, then it's no contest
11)you don't have pick at cat sh.t
12)dogs are irritating and attention seeking. You feed them, take them
for a walk and the minute you sit down they whine. SHUT THE f.ck UP
YOU DUMB FLEA BITTEN MUTT
13)Cats do not beg for food as much as dogs when your eating a meal
14)cats are calmer and more serene

I grew up with big dogs, and up until 10 years ago, I considered myself
a "dog" person. In fact, I dare say I disliked cats as you seem to
dislike dogs. Thought cats were shifty, aloof, basically worthless
animals.....
Then, 2 stray cats adopted me--and I fell head over heels in love with
cats....
Now, I consider myself a "cat & dog" person. Both species have their
good points, and not so good. But both cats and dogs are wonderful
companions in their own right.
Right now I only have space for my 3 cats--but once I get a house and
some more room, I'd love to add a dog to the clowder.--r3

Dogs have owners.
Cats have servants.

I realise your post is meant to be funny, and in parts it is, however it's a
serious subject for those cat-owners who have had dogs try to kill their
cat. I felt a strong anti-dog feeling for quite a while after getting into
brawl with a dog which had latched its jaws onto our cat's thick coat (much
to the dog's chagrin). Since then, I've re-assessed my position with the
simple proposition: what do bird-lovers, particularly those who watch birds
in the wild, think of cats?
It's a "no judgement" call, one is the predator of the other.
