: Do you love her? In my opinion, that's all that should matter. I have
: three cats of my own and I don't know for certain their breeds either. I
: DO know that I love them very much, and that I will do all in my power
: to make sure that they stay happy and healthy. To me, that is the most
: important thing. Every thing else is irrelevant.
Yes, I do love her, that's why I'm interested. I'd like to find out more
about her.
But I realize that there are so many characteristics to be taken into
account that it's not easy at all:
coat, undercoat, ears, body, tail, size, colour, you name it.
Of course she is a European Longhair, but I wonder what longhaired ancestor
has left his genes with her.
The most likely seems to be the Norwegian Forest cat.

Do you have any pictures of her? It would probably help you if you could
post a couple of good shots of her so that someone here might be able to
assist you in trying to find out her general breed.
Is she a big girl? Is she all hair?
I know that one of mine has a lot of Maine Coon in her due to her size,
hair, whiskers, and disposition. I know that my kitten looks like he too
is part Maine Coon as well. My original male is just a moogie though. He
has the best disposition of my three, and he has 23 toes. My friends
call him a Hemmingway cat, but, again, although he is not a cat that
likes to cuddle, he is the most lovable of the three.
Good luck with trying to find your little girls breed.
If you want, you can email me personally at
jacquie0@rogersremovespam.com with some pictures of your girl and I will
try my best to help you out. Remove the obvious.
