Got a new kitten recently, About three weeks ago. I got bitten by her
cause she was being playful and she scratched me on the head one night
when I was asleep.  Well a few days later I notice my gland under my
chin on my throat was swollen and I started feeling sick like I had the
flu, I am getting headaches too.  I didnt think of cat scratch at
first, I thought maybe it was a tumor or something. I didnt even think
about the scratch on my forehead.

But now I did some research and it said cat scratch causes glands to be
swollen and can give you a fever. I guess this is what I have, I am
going to a doctor on monday just to be safe but does anyone else think
this is what happened to me ?

Just a coincidence that I got scratched on the forehead and this all
happened suddnely. I have had a swollen gland there before under my
chin on my neck but it was due to a piercing I had. It went away
shortly after I took the piercing out and I stopped with the piercings
since.
