As I stated in my post earlier, my kitten (just under 5 months old) is just
as big as my older cat.  I feed all my cats (2 adult and 2 kittens) on
adult cat food and have done since the kittens were 3 months old, it was
easier this way because the cats kept swapping from each others dishes.
The kittens are growing bigger every week, they are healthy and still full
of the joys of spring!!  I was just wondering what anybodys views on
feeding kittens on adult cat food, as I read on one of the other posts 2
people going head to head over nutrition etc.  Looking at my kittens, they
seem to be thriving on adult cat food.

It's hard to say anything without knowing specificly which food you're
feeding and checking it's nutrient levels.  Some are a lot more suitable
than others.

Could you give the little ones an extra "treat" of kitten food away from
the adults once or twice a day?

I have too many cats to even consider feeding them separately - they
all, regardless of age get Special Kitty dry from Walmart, and they
are all thriving, except perhaps Millie whom I suspect of having a
severe worm infestation (though the vet has never found any, probably
due to the difficulty of getting proper stool samples) for which I am
ordering medicine this weekend (Maryweather has tapeworms (which I
discovered a couple of days ago), and she is thriving - they are all
twelve getting wormed as soon as the stuff gets here).
