The body shop sells a nice room perfume spray. It also helps when people
have smoked in the house.

some people recommend an 'enzyme' cleaner - but I find that vinegar works
just fine - it's acidic so it 'eats up' the urine smell.

My sister had to tear up all of the carpet and actually replace both the
carpet and the sub floors.  Luckily her homeowners insurance covered this
although she did have to pay the deductible for each floor.
