Cat Forum / General Topics / October 2005My Cats Eating More
Is it normal for a cat to start eating more when they get older? My 7 year old Manx cat Amber has been starting to eat about a half cup more of cat chow daily for the last 3 months and sometimes she asks for two cans of Fancy Feast a day. She's around 12 lbs, I'm guessing, but she isn't fat. She is getting older she is burning more fuel to keep those old bones going if she starts shaving diarrhea or vomiting than worry My 18 year old eats 3 x times the amount of our older cats and she weighs about 5 lbs never weighed more than 6 lbs and she is still in great health according to the vet |
