Right now we have everything ready to go right now.  We are taking a
breather and now playing the waiting game.

We have 200 foster families that choose to leave the southwest side of the
state.  They are enjoying themselves staying in a local pet friendly hotel.
We moved over 500 cats and dogs from down there to safe areas here.  If the
storm changes its crossing points or changes wind speed that would endanger
our safe areas we have made plans to move to the hotel that has been built
to withstand a level 4 hurricane.  If it gets worse than that we have
emergency plans to evacuate to Kentucky it would be a long haul and stress
on the animals but what needs to be done will be.  As I said before we are
playing the waiting game  evacuations went into affect down there in certain
parts but people are being stupid and waiting . I understand the storm is
acting very weird but the waiting games without a safe haven is plain
dangerous

My understanding   Miami areas ( east side of state) and Naples ( south west
side ) areas has moved their exotics to Walt Disney world where they will be
safe  and they have moved there foster families and shelter occupants to a
Jacksonville safe areas.

FYI  The other county shelters that we have no affiliation  with us have all
been placed on emergency alert.  The HS of Florida have warned their rescue
units to be prepared.   Gov. Bush is on TV right now talking about
everything  for us humans  they have several spearhead teams  standing by in
safe areas along with supplies ready to go just in case.  Florida has a new
traffic evacuation plan  Florida got permission to use both sides of the
highway to evacuate if necessary.

As for us personally   we have plenty of water,  plenty of food,  plenty of
gas for the generators and the must plenty of TLC for the four legs.  I got
about 2 hours of sleep on the road trip back .  Our team got a great
surprise on arriving back home;  the elementary school near us did a pet
food drive and brought us 30 shopping bags of pet food and the kindergarten
level kids gave $700 dollars;   The shelter owner is going to give the kids
a pizza party when this hurricane passes on.

We are taking the extra time to makes sure everything is batten down here.
I got to go to my retail stores and make sure everything is ready to go to
there my managers say it is but better safe than sorry.  Gave my employees
Sat, Sun, Monday off paid   give them some time to prepare and not worry
about making a paycheck.  They might have tues and Wednesday off if the
storm slows down anymore.  All the employees said they would come out the
shelters and help out  I got a good crew.

Prayers to all

Any questions ask away  I will try to get to them when I take a breather
later on :-)
