Does anyone's moggette/s use these so-called radiator hammocks ?
Thinking of getting one - but don't really want to waste money, if the cat
doesn't like it.

What is a  radiator hammock?  That having been asked my cats would not
bother.   My calico especially would just lie on the radiator itself.
Or they will go for the heat register itself.

Mine never used his so I gave it to some friends and their furballs just
love it. Try sticking a chair up close to the radiator for a week and
seeing if they will sit on the chair/go to sleep etc - if so then the
chances are v. good they will use a hammock.

The other 42% are made up later on.
In Warwick - looking at flat fields and that includes the castle.

Good thinking, Chris - sounds right up my street.
But what if he doesn't use the chair - then I'll have to send that back.

Never bought one 'cos never had the need.

The tatty old Tartan cat basket lives just under the world's biggest
radiator and even though the fat b#st#rd surely can no longer be comfortable
in it he still manages at least 28 hrs sleep per day there.

I can foresee one problem with radiator hammocks, if you're introducing one
to a mature cat you stand very little chance of getting it to accept it.

Quango at the age of 15 or so took to his immediately.

We got one for Quango when he was getting quite old.  He liked it, and
used it for a time, but it bent out of shape eventually.

After we lost Quango my wife took the covering off the frame and put
it on the bed.  The cats like that.

We think we got our money's worth.

Actually, we just park the plastic toolbox next to the rad - with some
beloved Daily Telegraph on top and he loves it.
Who needs bendy hammocks ?
