Yay I just called my vet and they've told me the animal welfare group is
offering 50% off desexing vouchers, valid for three months. So that's great,
i can get jasmine desexed as soon as she has the kittens. When would you all
advise that I take her in for desexing?? I really don't want to have this
happen again, and I'm also saving up to get her and the dogs microchipped.

As soon as the vet says it is safe to do so  if you can get her the shot
that helps them come around from the knock out juice do so makes a world of
difference for them

The "wake-up" injection has been used on patients for a long time. I think
they use a long-acting anaethesia in case they need the patient to be under
for longer if needed. They then give the antagonist to cancel the effect.

The longer the patient is under, the more possibility of adverse
effects,..so I'd ask the Vet about it.
