Can you answer a question for me please. Is it safe to give kittens (after weaning) milk? If so how much and how often is it ok? You can usually buy lactose free kitten milk in the kitten food section of your supermarket. it should have recommended amounts on the side of the pack. >Can you answer a question for me please. Most adult mammals, including humans, are lactose intolerant, but small amounts generally cause no harm - if the cat develops runny stool, discontinue or reduce the amount. I have found that most of my cats tolerate half and half quite well, and most of them love it. A couple love it but don't tolerate it very well.  SignatureT.E.D. I don't have to worry about that, as since I'm lactose intolerant myself, I use Lactaid 100% lactose free milk. But really you should only give them water. |
