microchip - how to register in US?

Hi there,

We took our cat from Europe to the US. Cat has id microchip implanted
in Europe. How may I register it here - US/NY. Obviously, I would like
to provide my local residential address.

Did you chip have a website for it  a local vet should be able to scan it
and update if they do implants
