I recent got a kitten (4 mos.) and last week she stopped eating and drinking
and was having tremors in her legs.  When I took her to the vet. she was in
ICU for two days and on fluids and meds.  We still don't know much other than
she had a low white blood cell count.  She tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
It seems that after the large vet bill I still don't know much.  She is
probably 90% back to normal with playing, "talking," and using the litter box.
However, she seems to be a bit picking with her food now and she will sit in
front of her water bowl for long periods of time.  She actually sits so close
she gets her chest all wet.  Any advice from anyone?  Thank you!

I know that I'm going to get flamed, but in situations like that it
is best to let nature take its course. A kitten two days in ICU?! Heck,
pets get better treatment than humans in this country.

1 Is she walking into walls or being over clumsy for a kitten

2 Is she an outside kitty if not Do you have any house plants or  household
cleaners out in the open or easy access             to remember they are
like children maybe in the garage like radiator fluid

3  Is her bathroom habits normal

I had a stray that ate angel trumpet plant and it was ICU for a week
,tremors  so bad that the every one in the vet's office  was in tears
including the vet

The nit picking and water bowl  sounds like the experience really knock her
for a loop  think as it as a hospital stay for us after a major operation.
I have a cat when it drinks gets his chest totally wet and usually ends up
getting his nose under water
My rumble who is epliptic now thank the gods under control still get itches
but that is another story when he got his tr4emors and seizures would knock
him off his feet for days  he would not come down off the cable box to eat
unless I shoved his nose in it
