My cat ran away.  I'v searched the entire neighborhood, contacted the
ASPCA, all the vets in the neighborhood, posted fliers, and walked
around the neighborhood at night.  Does anyone have any other
suggestions?

did you contact the local animal control to let them know that you lost a
cat?

Try the local classifieds. Here in FL, they will let you post a
lost/found pet ad for free. Also, inform your local shelter/pet
rescue.

Good luck.

Go around to your neighbors, house to house, and give them your phone
number and show them a picture. Also have them open all out buildings --
garages, tool shed, etc. Lots of times cats get stuck in buildings and
can't get out. My aunt's cat was gone for over a week, she had handed
out her phone number, and the neighbors' called her when they heard
meowing. Turns out the cat was shut in the crawl space under the
neighbor's house.

Be sure to leave out food and water.

Good luck!

On my Catpage, there are two articles on this subject, namely:

by Sharon Talbert, Seattle, WA, USA

with an addendum by Jenna Steele

                      http://blakjak.com/lost_ct1.htm

There are also links to a couple of other places.  I hope that the
advice in these articles helps, and that you find your lost cat.
