We've had Midnight now for about 4 months. She originally belonged to former
neighbors of mine who moved and abandoned her, her sister and brother. I
don't know what happened to Midnight's sister and brother, but after Midnight
had been homeless for about a month, she ended up adopting us. When I first
met her at my former neighbors house, she and her siblings were about 3
months old and that was 9 months ago. We figure that she's about a year or
relatively close to a year now.
My question is:
How can we determine her exact age and how do we figure out her birthday?

There is no way without knowing her actual birthdate.

I've run into the same problem. Once they have lost their babyteeth I
don't know of any way to tell.

Call your former neighbors. Duh.

When they moved, we weren't on speaking terms. And even I was on speaking
terms with them, they didn't know Midnight's exact birthday, either. They
got Midnight and her siblings after one of their sons told them about the
cats. Seems the mother abandoned Midnight and her siblings and the kittens
were covered in fleas and not getting enough to eat.

The only way to tell the age of an animal without the birthdate is by their
baby teeth. Once those are gone, there's no way to tell.

How can we tell if her baby teeth are gone or not?

If she's at least 9 months old like you said (I believe) in your first post,
they're all long gone.

I ran into the same problem once. I really don't know how to do it
except take the cat to the vet.

That's the thing. The vet couldn't really tell either.
