My cat used to be quite the bully when she was outside. I could always
either hear her warning a cat away or actually fighting with them! She
would always want to go outside - just coming in to eat but wanting to
go right back outside. Lately though she will not go. She won't even
scratch at the door anymore. When the screendoor is in view she'll
lazily lounge on the table enjoying the breeze but not wanting to go
out. So today I thought that that I would see if she would stay out.
Well the first time she came back in before I could close the door and
the second time I managed to close the door before she could come back
in but she did NOT move from the door - she stayed right by it -
looking around but not moving away from the door.
Jokingly we think she been too much of a bully and now the other cats
are out to get her?

"How in the heck did I ever get talked into this?"
Something scared her--you may be right. Or one of your human neighbors
could have frightened her. Do yourself and your cat a favor--keep her
inside from now on. She will live a longer life.
My cat Stitch was indoor/outdoor until last year. While he wasn't a
bully (at least I don't think he was), he loved to make the rounds of
the neighborhood--visited neighbors--the businesses across the
street....etc. Everyone seemed to love him.
However, one day, I received a complaint from the shopping mall about a
half block away from our apt. Sure enough, Stitch had worn out his
welcome, and the manager of the mall "didn't want that damn cat hanging
around".
That day, Stitch became an indoor only cat. I just didn't want to take
the chance that someone would pick him up and dump him somewhere, or
try to hurt or kill him.

Question: Has stitch grown accustomed to being an indoor cat?
