I received some as a free sample one day & my cat just sniffed it once &
would never go near it again.

Its a good thing! The entire Whiskas line is one of the worst cat foods on
the market. The phosphorus content of their diets are so high that I'm
surprised that the cats who eat the stuff don't glow in the dark. High
phosphorus contents can lead to mineralization of soft tissue- especially
the kidneys. Phosphorus is also one of the primary components of struvite
crystals and uroliths in cats (magnesium ammonium phosphate).

Hi, Brand,
I'll offer it to my cat, Julia, and see what she thinks.
I also saw something on the market by WHISKAS (or another brand)--it's
a milk-type drink; have you heard of this kind of product? If so, have
your babies tried it out, and what do they think of it?

No I've not tried that for my cats. I might get some and try it out. If they
like it, maybe it could be a weekly treat for my furbabies.

WHISKAS does make it--but I didn't stop to check it out more carefully
when I picked up Julia's litter and food, this afternoon.

I don't know it, but I bet there's sugar in it ...

The cats I know are a bit spotty. My sisters 4 cats loved it, my pair a big
yawn. I think you need to try it and see. Just do what I do with any food
for the cats, give them a variety. I feel that you are less likely to cause
damage that way than trying to find some mythical ideally nutritious food.

Have you heard of that milk-like drink for cats, perhaps sold by POUNCE
or WHISKAS? I want my cat to have a balanced diet--but I want her to
have a (safer) variety of foods for her diet.

None of mine like it but they do like milk which does not effect any of them adversely.
If you want to give them milk and they do not like the WHISKAS (Milk plus) and regular
milk bothers them you might want to try lactose free people milk. My grand daughter
drinks it because regular dairy product effect her.
