Ok, I got a new cat. My sister had a stray kitten, about 4-5 months old if
we go by size. She didn't want a cat, so I took him home with me. I've got 4
cats so what's one more, right?
He has fleas.
I treated him last night with some Frontline and was curious as to how long
it takes for it to work.

All my other animals had their Frontline a couple days ago, so they should
be fine.

On my cats, it always takes at least 24 hours to see that it's working.
(I usually use Advantage, but I'm sure it would be about the same for
Frontline)
Good on you for taking the little critter in and giving it a home.

When I find a stray or abandon cat / kitten I usually give it a bath using flea soap first
or sometimes 2 or 3 depending on how bad it has fleas but it usually gets at least one.
Then when he is dryed off if it is old and big enough it gets a treatment of advantage or
frontline.

His wasn't to bad.  You could see a few, and I combed him out with a flea
comb, treated him, waited a couple days then bathed him to get rid of any
dead ones left over.
He's flea free, as much as I can tell.
