Time to switch from "kitten" to "adult" food?

She's about  a year old - will she care?  will it make a difference?

She gets Science Diet, if it matters....

she actually eats science diet kitten?? *shocked expression on face*  I
haven't found a kitten yet that likes it.  the recommendation is usually at
a year.  Wean over slowly as to not upset the digestive system.  3/4ths to
1/4 for a few days, and if no noticeable change in stools, then go to half
and half ..etc.
