I know that most cats are mixed.  But is there a web site or a book
that will walk you through the characteristics of a cat to help
determine what breed (or breeds) a cat is?

thanks,

Robert

"The New Encyclopedia of the Cat" by Dr. Bruce Fogel.  You can probably pick
up a used copy in excellent condition for about 1/2 price on Amazon.com used
books section.
