Oneof my Babies, Brandy, a five year old tabby, does not like her paws
touched. She loves her petting, and comes looking for it regularly. But
if I try to touch her paws, she snaps and bites. She's always been like
this. Anyone else have a kitty who doesn't like her paws touched?

Kitty doesn't mind having his paws touched, and will let me me clip
his claws without protest. Smokey, struggles and fights to get away,
but not to the point of biting or scratching. But Fluffy will strike
like a rattlesnake and bite hard enough to draw blood if I even think
about touching her feet.

Oh yes. My charlie was a stray, who I believe had a car accident or
something that likely broke his tail and hurt his back, as when I used to
see him around the garden he couldn;t move his tail. Anyway, he eventually
moved himself in, with tail already recovered, but he never lets me touch it
or his back, or his paws, he gets very angry about it bites and growls, so I
wonder if it actually hurts him when I touch it, the poor boy.
When I cut his nails, I have to force him down genlty but firmly, then hold
his paw more then gently and vut nails. I always try and give him big reward
afterwards, and he has calmed down a lot, but just simply don;t like me
touching his paws full stop.
I'd suggest you do what I did many times, and scream(cry) every tiem she
bites you very loudly! Cats don;t like that! Also give her a big rewards
afterwards, say her favorite treats and lots of praise and scratches. But I
guess some cats just don;t like it, perhaps it hurts, tickles or is just
plain uncomforatble.
