In this ng I've come across some videos cats can watch. (Birds and other
stuff, innit?)
Well I inquired today in the pet shop. The girl nearly went crazy. Obviously
these videos haven't reached Europe yet. Videos for humans to watch cats -
yes! But videos for cats - impossible!! The girl in the shop thought it
would only make the cats aggressive to see the birds. But I get from your
postings that it's more of a past time for the cats. Or do they get
aggressive?

Mine got very interested and tried to get into the TV.
Their reactions differed a lot but after a couple of
viewings they all grew bored. None ever did anything
that would be considered aggressive.

You can order the videos at Amazon.com, just do a search for cat tv! There's
one for $19.95 and one for $12.95 (not sure how that would translate into
Euros :)) I've never heard about them making cats more aggressive, it's just
that some cats like them and some cats could care less!!!!

Umm well I guess that Swiss francs would be better - about 2CHF to 1USD
I think. I've seen these videos on sale in Basle and Lausanne if that's
any help to the OP.

My cat likes watching the motor racing and tried to grab the cars as the
drove off the edge of the screen. He gave up after about 10 minutes and
never bothered again.

Surely an aquarium is the only proper cat TV though.....
