My friends cat had kittens last years and after 3 months it would'nt have anything todo with the kittens. It took off and has'nt been seen since. Now one of its kittens has kittens, will the same happen? At 3 months old kittens are way too old to still be nursing anyway. 10-12 weeks is the usual age they are weaned from their mother.  SignatureNiel H getting the cats spayed would prevent this. There are MANY low cost spay neuter groups out there to help if cost is the issue.
