Got Fleas? Here's one to try slice up a lemon in halves put in a jug with a
garlic bulb, add some water let sit for 2 weeks and then apply to your cat
and area, the woman who wrote this swears by it and it's very effective.

Wouldn't is be fermenting or rancid by then? I would like to hear from
somone who has tried this personally. What must it smell like?
How do you store the mixture then? How long does it last? How often do you
apply it? What about for carpets and furniture?
Thanks,
Jen

Our experience is using 20 Mule Team Borax. Spread it on the
carpeting; it definitely works. We got this tip when living in
Florida, which is a definitely harsh environment for flea control.

Sodium borate is considered somewhat toxic to people and pets as well
as very toxic to insects.

Fortunately, the one benefit I've found out about living in the
godforsaken desert of AZ is that fleas aren't a problem. I don't know
why they aren't and I don't really care - I just know that I've never
seen any and I've heard or read that they just don't hang out here.
Roaches and mosquitos aren't a problem either, and I have yet to see a
scorpion, tarantula, or snake that wasn't confined to an aquarium
since I moved here.
This place would be paradise if the temps weren't already hitting 115
degrees and the air wasn't thick with smoke caused by the introduction
of kindling to the landscape 70-80 years ago - with a little help from
lightning.
It's a helluva lot better than being attacked by fleas in a hospital
waiting room in Dallas or returning from a 2-week vacation only to
find that 3 "bug bombs" weren't enough to kill all of them - they all
sought refuge in 1 end of the house and within 2 minutes of entering
that part, there were about a dozen crawling all over me. We got them
on the 2nd attempt though.
Fleas suck!

Add it to your cat like you add an mulch to your salad.
