Have 3 cats - 2 which probably need to go to the vet. (One needs to be
fixed). Now, this wasn't a problem a year ago - where a $100+ vet visit
could fit in the budget. But I am on Disability. And the government has seen
fit to lower the ole income. Now - I am not out begging - I am trying to
supplement my income.
The Doctor's say I can't work - but: I am trying to auction off all things
of value (going for the Japanese sort of apartment look :}~) Ergo, at least
I'm not begging. And proceeds will go towards various non-profit groups that
look for a cure of my main condition.
Anyways - here's how it works:
My current auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5591689535
And if you want to help support without a contribution, please click this
link:
http://cgi1.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MakeTrack&item=5591689535
The more people that click the above link, the more publicity the auction
gets on EBay. My last auction worked, but didn't get much money - oh well -
it's a learning experience. Bidding is also welcome. And - if you are from
Washington state (within the Seattle area) we can save on shipping with
local pickup (just email me from the auction page about this newsgroup -
etc.)
Feedback would be great also - you can email from the auction page. If you
could contact anyone else that might be interested, it would also be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks so much for your time, I learn a lot from the posts in this group.
Let's see, your cats need to see a vet, you're pleading poverty, trying to
supplement income and yet you say the proceeds will go to various
non-specified charities rather than the care of your
cats??????????????????????????? I'm not buying it. And I sure as hell would
never click on a link to Ebay from a post in a news group.

I'm not pleading poverty - if you read the auction - you will see what it's
about. And 15% goes towards National Spasmodic Torticollis Association
(which is what I have, and is very underfunded). I have 3 cats - my income
was lowered just this month. I am doing the best I can - and there is
nothing wrong with trying to respectfully earn money.
Sorry you feel that way, hope others don't necessarily. I also completed
another auction - where 20% went to Parkinson's. I will keep doing it as the
needs seem to grow - it is how I can earn money - while Doc says can't work.
Thanks for your time.

Please place a picture of the receipt from the unnamed Parkinson's
charity that 20% of your last sale went to - also include paperwork
for the sale so we can verify that it was in fact 20%.
Why would you need multiple identities on ebay unless you were
scamming people?
Also, please provide a list and pictures of everything you are putting
in the bag - if it's worth the asking price, you shouldn't have any
trouble doing this.
You don't even say how big the thing is.

It's got scam written all over it.
You're spot on in your assessment - the charity he has in mind is his
bank account.
If she's not caring for her cats, I say we report her the proper
authorities.

Yeah, IMO it's so obviously a scam with a badly thought out sob story.

Translation: you pay more than $200 and maybe get a box that is
worth of ten centes if you're lucky. No thanks, i've been ripped
offf before on Ebay. I had someone take delivery on soemthing
worth thosuands of dollars only to gett $0.00 in the payment
department.
BTW, $41.30 for shipping for what could turn out to be an
empty box or a box filled with bricks. I may have been born
at night, I wasn't born last night.

It is a "lot" with over 50 items in it, some for the household. If anyone is
familiar with flylady.net - decluttering means passing on the goodies (plus
I have a lot of EBay Inventory) - etc. Besides - I did one previously - and
all was sent out and went well. Sorry you were scammed - I am not - I've
sold $200 items on EBay with glowing feedback (this is also not my only ID -
but you can check my feedback). Not scam, just fun.

Your adverstising sounds very deceptive. Either you spend $200+
get something that may be worth more than that or you spend
$200 and essentially end up with box you spent $40.00+
for shippign that is completely worthless.
Around here that would be highlly illegal and i'm
suprised ebay hasn't shut it down. This is in the
US. My undertanding is this violates the terms
of service for Ebay.

"Seller makes no guarantee that any free contents inside the PURPLE
LUNCHBOX/SHIPPING BOXES will be equal to the final value of the
auction. "
Translation: you may well spend $200+ for this auction and
get a lunch box that has absolutely nothing of value in it or
a value of about 1 cent.
Around here that is illegal.

What kind of fraud is someone up to if they are using two diffrrent
ids? If you're looking for positive fieedback you stick with one
ID that people can look at the ratings for.
This should be good when you try to explain why you need to have
two IDS for ebay.
I notice this ID you're using has 100% positive feecback. I suppose
the second ID has all the negative feedback.

Boy, you sure have something itching - since I already sent out the one lot
with Jewelry - I hardly think.
And if you read the auction - the clues for the items are right there.
2 IDs - If you read the boards on EBay (and I post regularly on the other
ID) a) you need to IDs - (cause of folks like you :}~ just kidding) b) if
you buy to resell - you don't want your buyers seeing that ID -get it?
Minimum of Three Boxes is not nothing - but you go on with your bad self -
OK?
Thanks

Ah yes....you need two IDS. One to artificially inflate the price so
the other ID can make a killing at the bank. Bidding up the price on
your own auction. That is a really ethical thing to do.
Did you work for Enron in past years?

$210 (including $41 shipping) is a pretty neat trick.
I already have been screwed on ebay and have enormous distrust
for the ebay system. Your ad makes me even more distrustful.
I'd love to see someone shut ebay/Paypal down. Too many frauds
have destroyed what should be a good idea.
Il live thousands of miles away from you and even from here this
auction stinks. It's got fraud written all over it.
