I know, all cats are special in their own way.
But is there anything of which you believe only your cat does it?
Like our Micky: He doesn't show up often during summer, but when he does, he
laments so badly for about five minutes as if the end of the world was about
to come.

Per M.C. Mullen:

Stealth.
When it's in the house, this thing can be totally invisible/impossible to find.
Sometimes it's under a couch, other times it's in a closet and so-on.
It likes company at night, but my wife doesn't like something jumping onto the
bed at 3AM so she closes the bedroom door about an hour before bedtime. But
it's caught on and sneaks in before closing time to hide somewhere - like under
the bed or in one of the closets.

My ldest cat 'Q' loves music, especially heavy rock. Whenever I am at the
computer and start playing MP3s he comes in and sits on the floor by my
chair. I used to work on holiday parks (in the UK trailer parks where the
trailers are let for holidays) and run the bars/club on the site and he
would walk to work with me, sit outside or in the foyer of the club until I
had closed and then walk home with me. Of course he used to get plenty of
attention from the holidaymakers which probably was an incentive too. :)

Is your Micky spayed? If so, why doesn't he show up often during the
summer? If he isn't, why isn't he?

He was spayed when he was 5 mths old. We live near little woods, he just
loves to be there and comes home to eat or when it's raining.
In winter he's really depressed, lies in his cat tree, puts on two pounds
and waits for summer.
All I can do is treat him for ticks and worm him regularly, and of course
give him cuddles when he comes.

Very unusual but he's a lucky cat to have you.

My cat Tikka has been taught to nod when she wants fed, so I make a
nodding motion and she copies me. Now she'll come up to me and start
nodding unprompted. She's a bit greedy mind, so lots of nodding all the
time now ! I'm beginning to wonder who taught who :-)

That's funny! And what does she do if she doesn't like the food?
Shake her head?

I had a cat named Cecil from 1974 to 1993. A DLH mixed breed I adopted
from a local humane society. What a gem he was.
Whenever I would sing, blow my nose, sneeze or cough he would start
howling.
Only cat I ever had that did that and I've had quite a few.
