I brought our three little ones (8 weeks now) for their first shots: gosh,
they certainly behaved very badly: growling, screaming, scratching! The vet
was quite surprised! I had to hold them very tight but still got some of the
injection LOL. The vet said it was like injecting little Tigers.
All our other cats, a former feral included, certainly behaved much better!
Btw right now they're hanging on a curtain ...

I recently had to take my 14 week old burmese (Angus) to the vet for
the first time with and eye infection. He is normally very friendly
with strangers but he hissed, spat and growled at the (lady) vet
throughout the consultation. A week later I took him back and he hissed
at the (man) vet a couple of times but was much more friendly and was
walking up tp him for pats etc even after he had a shot! I didn't do
anything different, it was the same consult room, I have no explanation
but maybe your tigers will improve.
