I have one. I'm in LA, CA, USA. I bought mine 15 years ago for $35. The flap
and door both lock. You can have mine for $35. I made a custom adjustable
acrylic piece to fit my old taller patio door. Otherwise you can find them at
Home Depot. Some are $179 but I think they have a cheaper model. Here are some

I wish my neighbors would get these for their cats. We have so many
coming to our place trying to get in and get warm! Why do people
let their cats out for the whole entire day?!

I was just looking through the new Drs. Foster and Smith catalog, and I
noticed that they have just what you describe. If you have the catalog with
a picture of 3 dogs and a cat (eating) on the cover, the door is pictured on
page 51. There are 3 sizes of doors, based on size of the cat or dog, and
varying in price from $149.99 to $199.99. The patio door can be locked with
the panel in place, and it includes a security panel. It is available in
bronze, white, or aluminum. If you don't have the catalog, you could check
their online site or call their toll-free number (1-800-826-7206). It looks
pretty nice in the picture.

Sorry my post wasn't clear. I meant that I want to be
able to adjust the flap so that it will open inward but
not outward in the evenings when it's time to come in.
We have a small door like that for the garage but it's
not that easy to find one for the sliding glass door.
Is that what you have Mary from LA?
