This looks like it may be a repeat of the LitterMaid - which I found to be a
huge waste of money.   My main complaint about the LitterMaid was that the
rake kept clogging up and was difficult and awkard to clean.

Has anyone tried a PetMate Purrforma?

ok - looked at it and what cat in their right mind would acutally go into
that thing?  heck, even i would be terrified of it with its walls and
gizzmo's.
I know that a regular litter box is a hassle, damn lived in US for 18 years
in snow region with 4 cats and now have two indoor cats in Australia - but
not even I would consider putting one of my babies into one of those
fandangled contraptions!!!!!!!!!!!!
try a regular kitty litter box with a REALLY GOOD kitty litter.

I have two bengals and one siamese, they use a Purrforma and don't have any
problems at all. It is the XLarge one with the cover. Bengals are known for
their scattering litter! The rake must be better than what you have tried. It
very rarely gets clogged. You do need to use 'premium litter', To get them to
use it I also used Cat Attract. Works great! It works when I have to be away
from home, My husband doesn't do kitty litter, and the Purrforma will let one
cat use for up to two weeks without filling up the waste bag, BELIEVE me I
KNOW!
