My cat, or I should say one of my cats, the oldest, has been leaving
me presents in my bed.
I used to be balls or ribbons or catnit toys, but now it is grant
almost dead bugs.
Centipedes mostly, about 3 inches long, .,',.\',l\[l.,": shudder,,.\\
She is very proud of her kill and I love the attention but I want her
to stop, with out yelling or punishing her.
I the 30 years I have had cats I never had to deal with this.
My outdoor cats left the presents outdoors......

If I were you, I would pretend I didn't even notice what kitty brought to
the bed. Once he realizes his gifts aren't getting any attention, I think
he will stop.

I was watching a friends house while she was traveling overseas and
her cat did this too. It was mice and when I screamed he got
indignant
took the mouse and left the house for a full week. Eventually he did
come
back.
My understanding is when a cat brings you a present he
is expressing his love for you and his thanks by giving
you the bounty of hunt.
Never did find a way to stop it from happening.

This is about a British cat, isn't it?

I wish the presents I'm getting were bugs.
