I have a manx cat named Whitney..She is around 15 yrs old.
Thus she is having problems walking..When she walks she
wobbles...she sleeps a lot....She still eats, but today I had
to put her in the litter box. She walks very stiffly....My
question is what could I get or give her..To make her life
easyier...I noticed the pet store has Some vitamins...I'm just
looking for sugestions....I have 3 cats...two are near 15....one
is 3...The younger cat wants to play with the older
cats...they hate her.Big mistake having taking a younger cat
in..she pounces and bosses the older cats..any sugestions
appreciated....

Oh, I dunno....have a 10+ ladycat & also a 5+-year-old feisty male...all she
wants to do is lay around & sleep, but he aggravates her & they chase
through here; I think it's good exercise for her, arthritic as she is....I
think vets have some kind of shot to relieve arthritic pain, check it out
w/your vet. This is not sold @ pet stores, a Rx drug.

I would start this post by recommending you get her to the vet. They can
check her over and make sure she's ok, especially if this is a very new
development. Wobbling is NOT good.
This being said, there is help out there for stiff cats. My older cat
seemed to be getting stiffer and was having trouble jumping up on things. I
put her on cosequin and now she is much like the younger version of herself.
Cosequin is:
Glucosamine HCL 99+% 125 mg
Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate 95% 100 mg
Ascorbate (Manganese Ascorbate) 8 mg
Manganese (Manganese Ascorbate) 1 mg
