I would just like to say that i took my little boy kitten to the vets and
told him what had happened, it turns out that Gizmo is infact a girl, lol
And that she had some ulcers in the back of her throat, he has given me some
anti biotics to clear it, she is going back next week for another check up.

So it back to the drawing board for a girls name now, how embarrassing!!

I'm so glad you got her to the vet and she's being treated.  I'm sure she
had/has quite a sore throat.

So am I, and don't forget to give her all the shots and worming meds!
How old did you say the kitten was?

This isn't so bad - - - my veterinarian had thought 'Mortimer' (hey, I
didn't name her!  The lady who found Morti's starving but pregnant mother on
her doorstep did!) was a boy - - - up until the 6 week checkup!  And then
Mildred came out of the exam room and said "Guess what? Mortimer is a GIRL!"

I had already planned to adopt her, but that name had to go regardless :)
Her real name would be Katje, but for some reason, she was Munchkin Mausse.
(stop laughing....she really was a munchkin ;)  )

Ever after, right up to her last week at 19 years and 2 months of age, I
would either get an ugly look or a slap (or more than one slap!) if I teased
her by calling her 'Mortimer'.  Anybody tries to tell me cats don't know
what you're saying, HA!  Bushwa!

And a VET sexed her! So if you sexed your kitten, you most certainly have
nothing to be embarrassed about *s*
