Hello all

We have thought long and hard about buying a cat and have decided to go
for it. We have never owned a cat before and would therefore welcome any
advice or web links.

We are a family of four with two children, are there any cat types that
are better/worse with children for instance?

We are in UK if that makes a difference.

TIA

Lola

Get a cat from a shelter and tell the people what you are looking for (e.g..
friendly cat that loves to play and doesn't mind children).
They'll be happy to give you good advice and on top of it you get a cat that
is neutered and vaccinated.
