My poor kitty has be vomiting on and off for a month. Last week I took
him into the vet as nothing seemed to be working. (change food etc)

So they did blood tests... nothing... his body temperature and heart
rate are fine. He was dehydrated so the vet had to hydrate him with an
injection. he also had slight diareha and a very smelly litterbox.
(unusual for him to have a really smelly litterbox.)

Took him back again...Did a stool test... nothing. So we put him on
deworming meds just in case. (which he's on now as well as meds for
dieareah.)

Now he's not eating very much if at all for the past two days. Maybe a
tablespoon a day at most. (nut he is eating all the liquid from the
food)

Tonight I resorted to force feeding him with an eyedropper out of
desperation.

He's a grey and white male tabby. Indoor mostly although I do take him
outside on occasion but only with my supervision.

His behaviour is lethargic and he's sleeping in places he normally
doesn't.

Anyone have any thoughts on what could be going on with him?

If I were in your shoes, I'd get a second veterinary opinion.

I agree with you on that theory Candy. I too would go to a different
Vet. Who knows, the new vet might pick up on something that the original
vet didn't. Remember, if you do take your furbaby to another vet that
you tell them EVERYTHING that has been going on with your feline. It may
seem silly, but sometimes the most insugnificant thing to us, could make
all the difference in the world to a cat.
I hope things turn out well for you.

Sounds like an obstruction.

Had X-rays yet?

I also thought that the cat has swallowed something that is blocking the
way.
But the vet should have thought about that too.
I would go and see another vet.
