we just moved here to georgia like 5 and a half months ago.and we didn`t
have  pets with us at the time,(we are big animal lovers) but as soon as we
got here the tuxedo cat from next door came over and stayed with us for a
while.and so did their dog,at first the cat came every once in a while, but
now both the dog and the cat are ours.and when we first got them they were
both so skinny, like skeletons.we think that it`s really bad to starve or
hurt animals.and now every time the old owners were around they would both
come running in with scared looks on their faces!me and my family think that
they used to be abused.there are some real awful people in this world.i mean
who could hurt such a little animal?alot of the pets we ever had came from
our nextdoor nieghbors cuz an animal needs lots tlc (tender/love/care).

my "white cat" adopted me and my girlfriend over a period of many years.
he was not abused or anything...but the neighbors who had him also had
a bunch of small dogs (it varies between 4 and 6).
over the years he came over because he got more attention and better food!
one day i was talking to one of his previous "owners" and she said that
if they ever moved...i could keep "white cat"
although i know they will never move...i also know he'd never go back
there...
not with those (now) 6 dogs!
cats are NOT stupid!
