Imagine what Romeo's skin must've looked like after sleeping in the
dish-rack - all corrugated!
I've never heard of a cat eating lettuce before... peas, carrots, etc., once
in a while, but lettuce?! ;-)

And they are marvelous!!!!!

Aww! They're so cute. I have a black mane coon (sp?), his name is Salem
(male 2 years old in June) and last year a friend of mine suggested getting
his fur snipped. He's very skittish and I could only imagine how he'd react
if someone tried to buzz him. He runs out of the room like a bat out of Hell
when my husband uses his electric shaver. I called a few cat groomers and
most of them said they give cats like my Salem sedatives. I've been to
afraid to bring him because I don't want him drugged for a hair cut. Any
suggestions?
I also have two other cats. Mazy (female 7 months) and Rudy (male 2 years
in July). They're both short haired and don't need hair cuts, although I
think they'd handle it a lot better than Salem.

Dear RJ,

My Tiffy would get skittish too if I tried to come near her with the shaver.
She doesn't even like having her fur brushed, which is another reason why it
is necessary to have her groomed every Spring.

I bring Tiffy to a cat specialist vet. They give her a mild sedative for the
grooming. It's not a general anaesthetic or anything. Tiffy usually recovers
quite well. It is well worth it to see her afterwards walking with a spring
in her step.

Good luck!

Great pictures!  I bet Romeo would have napped in the dish rack even if
there were dishes in it.  Cats don't seem to mind squeezing into places even
if there's really not enough room.

I've heard a little cat hair greatly enhances PC performance. =o) Thanks,
Flippy, these are great pix.  I guess the dish drainer must feel good to
Romeo for some reason. My three can't sleep in the dish drainer, as it's
usually filled with drying dishes.

I'm glad you didn't do the dishes; Romeo might not like being mistaken for a
dish rag!

I love Romeo asleep in the dish drainer!  Maybe he feels that he gets better air circulation around him with the little "drain grills", hee hee.

I see that Chloe is studying to become a computer progrmming specialist.  Nothing like learning the works from the inside out!

Now, I had to check back to see Tiffy's expression, as to how she considered her "new look".  She doesn't look dissatisfied in the least.  In fact, she has an air of "Dahling, it's the lastest in feline fashion." :)  She really is sweet-looking.
Chloe really can't mind all that much that Tiffy sleeps on top of her, or she would just shuffle over a little bit under those covers *grin*

Thanks for sharing the updated photos, Flippy!  I always enjoy these!
