hi i'm due to have 2 kittens in may, i have decided on 2 male non pedigree
ones. what i want to know is in the batch there are 2 gingers 1 a female
the other a male. the person said that the female ginger is the bigger one
and the boy is smaller, is this right cause i always thought that male
kittens were bigger in size could they have sexed them wrong.?

The runt can be either male or female.  There can even be more than
one runt in the litter.

We adopted two brothers from a litter last Fall.  One was decidedly the runt
of the litter.  He is still smaller and weighs less than his brother, but
he's very healthy and active, and hold his own with his brother and our adult
alpha male.

Either sex can be the runt, and there can be more than one.

Yes, they could, but eventually the female will (should) remain smaller.
You can check for yourself, it's easy to make out a male.
