Hi, I am new.  I wanted to save the couple of posts that Larry had written
so beautifully about the worth of animals, and somehow all posts got deleted
on my end! Grrr, that is what no sleep will do, you delete the wrong things!

If anyone still has them, can they send them to me?  And Larry, would you
have any objection to me using them on my website?  They are so beautifully
written, and so well emphasize my philosophy!  Right up there with the likes
of Albert Schweitzer, Albert Einsten, Abraham Lincoln, and Mahatma Ghandi as
far as the treatment of animals goes.

Website address, in case you would like to check it out first:
http://www.members.shaw.ca/kattzenhausse/

I have been changing some of the websets, so some of the pages might show up
a little strange.  My intent is to get more into the humanitarian angle of
my personality..................much of my website is dedicated to my cats
and family, and some of the cats I have worked with, one whom I feel
deserved a much better chance at life than he got.

Thank you ever so much!

By all means use whatever you want and if you would ,dedicate them to my
beloved Blanca whom I lost several weeks ago. Larry C.(PS I'm not good at
the computer stuff but that posting was under general topics this month
under the heading of Why do we Love Cats and the post in reply to the
original post. Hope that helps)

Hi, Larry!

Thank you for your response!  A problem was I accidently deleted all the
messages under alt.cats before I copied the ones I wanted!  "Nimue"
responded saying I could use the google newsgroup search on the web; I tried
this, and there were those messages!  If you have a photo of Blanca you
would like included, you may email it to me......just drop the engine from
my email.

I have a Rainbow Bridge page that will eventually be added to my
website.............unsure when that will be added, the whole thing is a bit
untidy at the moment!  I was trying to get it out of Christmas and New
Year's mode, and in the process some of the code got messed up, and a couple
of the pages I basically pulled the websets from ended up looking very odd
on IE.  They will for a while.

My condolences to you on the crossing of Rainbow Bridge by your baby,
Blanca.  My 19-year old baby, Munchkin Mausse, preceded her by just over a
month, January 12th.  My 14 year old male cat, who was not a cuddle-buddy
for her (the only cuddle-puss for her was SweetPea, whom she grew up with,
and who passed away before he turned 13, from renal failure.  I still feel
cheated that he died so young.) still looks in the baskets and in the
closets where she chose to sleep for her.  Osker has lost a fair amount of
weight (3 pounds) because he is not eating, missing her.  She was very
dominating, and if he got out of line she would cuff him soundly, and made
sure he always knew who was boss, even when she was so sick and weak.  One
side of my kitchen counter was dedicated to her meds, syringes, etc. :)

I am hoping his grief levels off soon, or his veterinarian will need to do
something about the not eating issue.  Syringe feeding this pussycat is not
an option.

Do you have another kitty to keep you company?   They really are such
wonderful creatures.
It would be nice to have a photo of Blanca to go with your writing, so as I
said, feel free to email me a photo if you like!

I don't have a picture of Blanca on a digital camera but I have several
wonderful ones of me and her that I hope to have on a digital so I could
send them along. I too feel cheated as we only had 5 yrs. together. I miss
her so much as she was really sweet and lovey-dovey. Yes we have three big
cats all with different personalities and we also have a feral kitten that
showed up the day my Blanca died(strange isn't it). My wife and I are
hoping to catch it this weekend it will make a lovely addition to our home
as it is black with white boots and we will call it Boots.I'm sorry for
your loss and I hope the other cat gets over the loss soon. LarryC.

Just google them.  Google his email address in Google's newsgroup search
engine and you will get all the posts he ever made.

Thanks ever so much, Nimue!

I didn't know that option was available!

I now have the information I require.

Thanks again!
