Sorry if this isn't the place to post this, My friend runs a local cat
rescue has too many cats at the moment to accept more, I thought some folks
on here near PA could maybe help. Please email her directly cause she
doesn't read newsgroups. Thanks

-------------------------------------------
Hello,

I lost my job last month and am rapidly running out of money.  I have about
25 cats that I need to find homes for.  These are cats that showed up at my
house over the last 6 years.  I feed and take care of them.  Most of them
have been fixed.  Most are friendly but shy around strangers.  I know you
wouldn't be able to take all of them, but is there a possibility that you
could help by taking some of them.  I am afraid that I may lose my house and
I don't want to wait until the last minute to find them homes.  If I manage
to keep the house I'm afraid that I won't have enough money to continue
feeding them for more than a month.

If there is anything you can do to help me I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Debbie Smith

The email addy doesn't work!  So I'll tell you and you can pass it
along.

Have Debbie get in touch with ALLEY CAT ALLIES  (alleycatallies.org),
they may be able to hook her up with someone who can help.  She should
also contact her Vet and ask about rescue organizations in your area.
There is all kinds of help out there, you just have to know where to go
to find it.  If her regular Vet doesn't know of any, call other area
Vets as well as your local Humane Society.

I put the wrong URL in for Alley Cat Allies!  Here's what it should be:

www.alleycats.org

Sorry about that.
