My little Lily, a three year old furbaby, has taken to sitting on top
of my monitor and watching, and trying to catch the arrow cursor. It's
quite a source of amusement for her. Tonight, for some reason, I
decided to change the mouse properties so that the arrow left a trail.
Lily totally freaked out! She got all wacky, jumping away when the
cursor came near the top of the monitor near her, then finally jumped
down and ran off. I reset the mouse properties so that there was no
trail left, and she came back and did her usual thing, chasing the
cursor. Again, I put the tail back, and the same thing. She really got
scared, or seemingly, disoriented. I tried it several more times, each
time with the same results. I can't imaging what it is about the trail
that upsets her, unless there's something going on that a human eye
can't see, when the trail is being left on the screen, but a kitties
sharp eyesight picks up and it bothers her. Just thought I'd share
this unusual behavior.

YES! One of my cats does that too! Am I evil if I take great pleasure in
tormenting him by moving the cursor around?
